A day at Ubiwhere as a Backend Developer:
- Definition and documentation of software architectures for the Web;
- Software components setup and integration (with VMs and Docker);
- Design and implementation of REST APIs (in Python) with Django;
- Design and modelling of databases and data models in web frameworks such as Django;
- Technical meetings, in English, face-to-face, and/or remote.
What you’ll need:
- Degree in Computer Science or similar;
- Experience in developing solutions that take availability and scalability into account;
- Experience with common server-side technologies and frameworks based on Python or Java;
- Knowledge of client-server protocols such as REST, OAuth and Websockets;
- Experience with version control systems – preferably Git;
- Experience with database management systems such as PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases;
- Knowledge of Microservices architecture (optional);
- Knowledge of Docker (optional);
- Critical thinking and problem-solving orientated;
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments;
- Experience in R&D Projects is a plus;
- Good English writing skills.
