The "Arouca + Digital" project aims to establish a Digital Commercial Neighbourhood in the municipality of Arouca, promoting the digital transition of local businesses and modernising their operational models.

Developed by Ubiwhere, the project brings to life a Digital Commercial Neighbourhood in Arouca, encouraging the digital transformation of local commerce, modernising business operations, and integrating technology into the daily activities of both shopkeepers and consumers. 

This innovative initiative aims to expand the reach of local enterprises by connecting them to the digital world and its numerous benefits.

 

 

Through technology and digitalisation, the “Arouca + Digital” project will enhance the local economy of the Municipality of Arouca by encouraging the adoption of modern practices in commercial operations. The project is still ongoing, with the marketplace and mobile app already launched.

 

The portal is now available here. “Arouca + Digital” comprises 184 commercial establishments, supported by a comprehensive range of digital infrastructures and services designed to assist participating businesses in their digital transformation. The initiative highlights both the value of physical proximity and the benefits offered by the digital and virtual world.

 

Ubiwhere’s contribution lies in the creation and development of the “Arouca + Digital” marketplace, as well as its mobile and web applications, featuring a simplified and user-friendly design.
