Albergaria-a-Velha presents the ’’Bairro Comercial Digital’’ Marketplace developed by Ubiwhere
On the 2nd of September 2025, the Albergaria-a-Velha “Bairro Comercial Digital” Marketplace, a solution developed by Ubiwhere, was officially launched. This initiative aims to bring local businesses closer to the advantages of the digital world while preserving the human value, trust and care that have always defined the city’s merchants.
The Albergaria-a-Velha Marketplace, developed by Ubiwhere, enables consumers to purchase goods and services directly from local businesses in Albergaria-a-Velha. From the merchants’ perspective, each business has its own dedicated page to showcase products, manage sales without geographical limits, provide opening hours, indicate payment methods, and share photos as well as links to social media channels.
The online platform of the Albergaria-a-Velha “Bairro Comercial Digital” brings together nearly two hundred establishments and more than four thousand products and services, spread across eighteen streets in the city. It offers a digital space where you can explore local products and services, support traditional commerce in a simple, fast and secure way, and shop online with the same care and trust as always.
The launch event of the Albergaria-a-Velha “Bairro Comercial Digital” Marketplace was attended by our co-CEO, Rui A. Costa, and our Business Consultant, Paulo Duarte.
