Contributing to the future of Beyond 5G: Ubiwhere took part in the Plenary Meeting of the IMAGINE-B5G project
The Institute of Telecommunications in Aveiro hosted the Plenary Meeting of the IMAGINE-B5G project on the 11th and 12th of March. Ubiwhere, as a member of the project consortium, was one of the organisations attending this initiative, which made it possible to share the progress of the project and to showcase the input of each partner.
During the two-day Plenary Meeting of the IMAGINE-B5G project, the agenda included a technical review of the project, presentations of important use cases and updates on the Open Call 1 and Open Call 2 projects. In addition, there were debates centred on the validation of installations and vertical experiences, Open Calls 1, 2 and 3 and business models and project management strategies.
IMAGINE-B5G, an intelligent networks and services (SNS) project, aims to implement an advanced, affordable, secure and programmable end-to-end (E2E) 5G platform for large-scale trials and pilots in Europe, taking advantage of the best features of B5G. The project has already selected seven verticals and their respective stakeholders related to PPDR, Media, Education, Smart Agriculture and Forestry, eHealth, Transport and Logistics, and Industry 4.0.
Two days full of innovation, collaboration and discussions on the future of Beyond 5G technologies, with the participation of Ubiwhere.
