Gold Sponsor: Ubiwhere presented its innovative vision for digital transformation at the OASC Conference 2026
Ubiwhere participated in the OASC Conference 2026, held on the 28th and 29th of January in Fundão. The event once again established itself as the primary annual meeting point for the Open & Agile Smart Cities community, promoting the sharing of experiences, projects, and best practices in developing interoperable, people-centred digital solutions. In this context, Ubiwhere presented its Urban Platform and research and development projects, including Route 25.
Ubiwhere was represented by Ana Pereira, Head of Research & Innovation, who presented the company’s smart cities solutions, with particular emphasis on the Urban Platform and several research and development projects in which Ubiwhere has been actively involved. This participation provided an opportunity to showcase the digital solution’s strengths in data-driven governance, with a strong focus on interoperability and on creating sustainable digital infrastructure for territories.
Among the projects presented, Route 25 was disseminated as an Agenda for Autonomous, Intelligent, Interoperable and Inclusive Mobility, focused on exploring new approaches to smart mobility, the advanced use of data, and the experimentation with digital solutions in real urban environments.
The 2026 edition of the OASC Conference focused on the role of funding in driving digital transformation, bringing together concrete examples of projects supported by European and national programmes, such as Horizon Europe and Digital Europe. Throughout the various sessions, participants discussed funding models, implementation challenges and strategies to ensure the long-term sustainability of digital public services.
