New year, new partnership: Ubiwhere and the University of Aveiro inaugurate a new research lab
On the 7th of January, at 5 pm, the doors of the Artificial Intelligence Open Lab by Ubiwherewill open to the entire academic community. This space results from a partnership between the University of Aveiro and Ubiwhere and is designed to encourage research and the development of active learning methodologies using contemporary technological tools.
The inauguration of the Artificial Intelligence Open Laby by Ubiwhere will be attended by the Rector of the University of Aveiro, Paulo Jorge Ferreira, José Alexandre Almeida, Director of DMat, as well as the co-CEOs of Ubiwhere, Rui A. Costa and Nuno Ribeiro.
According to the University of Aveiro, ‘with the development of computing and the numerical, symbolic and graphical power of technology in solving mathematical problems, the teaching of maths can, with this new space, become more challenging from a pedagogical point of view.’ With the introduction of new learning methodologies, more centred on student activity and developed in an environment of experimentation and simulation, this new innovative space, from a pedagogical and research point of view, which will be inaugurated by the University of Aveiro and Ubiwhere, encourages and promotes cooperation with society and the business community.
