Portugal Smart Cities 2024: Ubiwhere showcased technological solutions to create smart territories
The 10th edition of the Portugal Smart Cities Summit, the largest national event dedicated to smart cities, took place at FIL in Lisbon from the 8th to the 10th of October. Over the course of three days, around 130 exhibitors showcased the best practices and solutions they have implemented. Ubiwhere participated in this edition and presented the Urban Platform.
The Portugal Smart Cities Summit is an event that allows companies to publicise their products, share knowledge and establish contacts. Ubiwhere was represented for another consecutive year: this year, we once again highlighted the Urban Platform, a digital solution for smart cities that offers information in various areas, such as mobility, energy efficiency and air quality. At the same time, Ubiwhere promoted the Digital Nervous System Testbed, a campus for startups and SMEs to develop and test innovative ideas and the Route 25 project, dedicated to mobility.
During the event, Nuno Ribeiro, co-CEO of Ubiwhere, was one of the speakers on the ‘Data-Driven Smart Cities’ panel at the ‘Sharing & Inclusive Cities: The AI Revolution in Smart Cities’ conference, where he shared Ubiwhere’s work with a focus on the Urban Platform, our digital solution that aims to create smart territories through the digital transition and which presents a unified vision of the city through the integration of data from different domains and the interoperability of information systems.
Governance, mobility, energy, IT & IOT, cybersecurity, water, waste, the environment, and health and well-being were some of the areas emphasised at the event, which is considered to be ‘the largest national marketplace for promoting networking and creating business opportunities in this sector’.
