Transforming cities and territories through the digital transition: Ubiwhere will be at the Portugal Smart Cities Summit 2025
The Portugal Smart Cities Summit is the leading event in Portugal dedicated to the transformation of cities and territories. There will be three days of exhibitions, business opportunities, presentations, seminars and networking, where it will be possible to meet the great leaders of Smart Cities solutions in Portugal and around the world: Ubiwhere is one of the nationally renowned organisations in the area of smart cities that will be present at this event for another consecutive year. With the theme ‘#Building Our Future Together’, the 11th edition of the Portugal Smart Cities Summit, promoted by the Fundação AIP, will take place from the 3rd to the 5th of June at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa. Ubiwhere will be one of the main highlights of this year’s edition, reinforcing its role as a reference in the digital transformation of Portuguese cities.
During the event, Ubiwhere will highlight Route 25, a strategic project for Autonomous, Intelligent, Interoperable, and Inclusive Mobility, which aims to position the Portuguese industry at the forefront of the mobility value chain. This project provides the communication and detection infrastructure necessary to enable autonomous driving to be deployed in various types of cities. Ubiwhere leads four key solutions in this ecosystem:
- Edge Offloading: real-time decisions with lower latency and bandwidth usage;
- Multimodal Sensing Platform: monitoring traffic, weather and intersections for better urban planning;
- Autonomous Mobility Operations Centre: integration of sensors and edge-cloud systems for continuous autonomous mobility;
- Smart Parking Solution: intelligent parking management and reservations.
As part of Route 25, Ubiwhere’s Urban Management Platform is centre stage. Ubiwhere’s Urban Management Platform is an integrated platform for efficient land management aligned with best practices and international standards. It complies with the reference architecture of the National Strategy for Smart Territories (ENTI), to support decision-making and improve citizens’ quality of life. This innovative product, which offers strategic and personalised urban management solutions, adapting to each territory’s specific needs, will be highlighted at the Ubiwhere stand - stand 3C02 - during the Portugal Smart Cities Summit 2025. Also to contribute to the economic and social revitalisation of territories, Ubiwhere will demonstrate innovative solutions developed for Digital Business Neighbourhoods, which help boost local commerce through technology and promote the digitalisation and enhancement of local commerce.
This year, Ubiwhere will play a prominent role at the Portugal Smart Cities Summit 2025, participating in and contributing to various initiatives. On the 3rd of June, between 2.30 pm and 3.30 pm, Ubiwhere will participate in a Smart Territories and Urban Management Platforms session in the Central Auditorium. On the 4th of June, Ubiwhere will take part in two Thematic Cafés: "Route to the Future of Cooperative, Connected and Automated Mobility (Route 25)" at Table 1 from 10.30 am to 11.15 am and "Tourism 5.0 with the ATT Agenda" at Table 2 from 3 pm to 3.45 pm.
The Portugal Smart Cities Summit is a national reference event for presenting solutions and projects aimed at decision-makers from municipalities, intermunicipal communities (CIMs), public entities, and companies that supply technology, services, and equipment. From the 3rd to the 5th of June, FIL will once again be the meeting point for local authorities, experts, companies and academic institutions, to stimulate dialogue and the sharing of knowledge and contribute to the construction of the Cities of the Future... and Ubiwhere will be there to show you the best solutions for your city and territory!
