Two days of discussion on interoperability, security and reliability: Ubiwhere attended the Project Implementation Committee Meeting of the O-CEI project

The agenda for this initiative included important discussions on the organisation and coordination of the project, an impact session focused on communication and dissemination, open source strategy, dissemination of status updates and reports from each pilot, dissemination of projects and technological layouts, and presentations from each large-scale pilot, highlighting the progress made since the start of the project, as well as planning for the next steps. In addition, updates were presented on advances in the development of the O-CEI ecosystem.

This meeting was a significant step in aligning collective efforts to build an open, interoperable and secure Cloud-Edge-IoT continuum for Europe. Under the inspiring ‘Brain’ installation at AVL’s headquarters in Graz, partners gained greater clarity on the lifecycle, market integration and alignment of pilot projects. During the Project Implementation Committee, Ubiwhere and the project partners reviewed the progress of all eight pilot projects, explored technical synergies and exchanged ideas to drive innovation in the O-CEI project.

The purposes of this meeting were to align the technical progress of the pilot projects, reinforce common terminology and standards, improve the platform architecture, and define clear guidelines for the next steps. All partners, including Ubiwhere, continue to align their efforts to strengthen the O-CEI platform and accelerate innovation across the Cloud-Edge-IoT continuum.
