Ubiwhere hosts the General Assembly of the IMAGINE-B5G project
Between the 14th and 16th of May, Ubiwhere will receive all the members of the IMAGINE-B5G project consortium at its headquarters in Aveiro. This General Assembly will allow the consortium partners to meet face-to-face, further boosting their relationships and any possible future synergies.
This event will allow participants to discuss the evolution of mobile telecom networks Beyond-5G (B5G), which creates a tremendous opportunity for Europe to establish leadership in innovation by addressing the requirements of use cases from several sectors.
The IMAGINE-B5G, a Smart Network and Services (SNS) Project, aims to implement an advanced, accessible, secure, and programmable end-to-end (E2E) 5G platform for large-scale trials and pilots in Europe by leveraging the best breed of B5G features. The project has already shortlisted seven verticals and corresponding stakeholders related to PPDR, Media, Education, Smart Agriculture and Forestry, eHealth, Transportation and Logistics, and Industry 4.0.
During this event, Ubiwhere will host it with special guests: the winners of the First Open Call of the Imagine B-5G project. All these winners were invited to discover the future of connectivity with this project and witness the revolutionary advancements in fifth-generation wireless technology. For these reasons, they will be at the General Assembly of IMAGINE-B5G to showcase their research to the consortium.
It will be an honour for Ubiwhere to host this event focused on this project, which is expected to have a vast worldwide impact on several industries.
