Ubiwhere prepares to launch the first Digital Commercial Neighbourhood in Arouca
On the 25th of July, the public launch event for the project “Arouca + Digital – Digital Commercial Neighbourhood” will take place next to the Municipal Museum at 7 p.m. Ubiwhere is responsible for this project, which includes the development of a marketplace and a mobile application that will be demonstrated during the launch session.
The “Digital Commercial Neighbourhood” represent an opportunity to revitalise urban centres and promote the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises. In this context, Ubiwhere introduces an approach that combines technological innovation with local commerce, fostering the creation of commercial hubs where digital and physical experiences complement each other.
Our first project, entitled “Arouca + Digital: Digital Commercial Neighbourhood”, aims to establish a Digital Commercial Neighbourhood in the Municipality of Arouca, promoting the digital transition of local businesses and modernising their operating models. The “Arouca + Digital” mobile and web app, designed to be user-friendly and straightforward, is a cornerstone of this solution, encouraging both retailers and customers to embrace the new digital model. The platform enables the collection of accurate and reliable data on infrastructure usage, providing users with enhanced information.
The launch event will feature a presentation of the “Arouca + Digital – Digital Commercial Neighbourhood” project, as well as a demonstration of the “Arouca Digital” online platform. It will be attended by our co-CEO, Nuno Ribeiro, and Rui Jesus.
