Ubiwhere promoted the Digital Nervous System Testbed at TECNET Trends 2025 and led the IX Meeting of the National Testbed Network
Ubiwhere was one of the technology companies invited to TECNET Trends, an event that took place on the 26th and 27th of June at the Oliva Creative Factory in São João da Madeira. The 2025 edition of TECNET Trends was centred on exploring and interpreting current trends and future challenges arising from the technological revolution. With this aim in mind, Ubiwhere promoted the Digital Nervous System Testbed and addressed the challenges of digital in one of the event's sessions. The event also hosted the IX Meeting of the National Testbed Network, led and energised by Ubiwhere.
At this event, Sandra Barnabé, Innovation Manager at Ubiwhere, was one of the speakers on the ‘Digital Challenges’ panel, a session whose main objective was to disseminate views on how to face the challenges of the digital age, which impact all sectors - from energy to telecommunications, from industry to urban innovation, where she presented the Digital Nervous System Testbed and Ubiwhere’s digital solutions for creating smart cities and territories.
TECNET Trends hosted the 9th National Meeting of the Portuguese Testbeds Network, an event that provided an opportunity to share and demonstrate the most advanced technological solutions within the national ecosystem. This strategic initiative funded by the PRR brought together dozens of innovation consortiums and hundreds of pilots carried out, boosting the digital and technological transition of Portuguese SMEs and startups, and brought together some of the country’s most relevant testbeds, which were present to present their projects, pilot cases and opportunities for collaboration: among them the Digital Nervous System Testbed by Ubiwhere, a test campus that provides a reliable, accessible and friendly means of testing innovative ideas and a solution that aims to accelerate technological development. At this 9th National Meeting of the Testbeds Network, Ubiwhere once again played a key role in leading and coordinating the entire meeting, as it has done at every session.
