Ubiwhere strengthens its connection to the Spanish smart cities ecosystem at the 1st RECI Technical Committee
Ubiwhere attended the 1st Technical Committee of the Spanish Network of Smart Cities (RECI), which took place on the 1st and the 2nd of July in Huelva, Spain. The meeting brought together municipal representatives, technical staff from Spanish city councils, public entities, technology companies and stakeholders from the urban ecosystem, promoting the sharing of experiences and debate around innovation applied to territories.
Ubiwhere was represented by Diogo Correia, Head of Strategy and Innovation, in a participation focused on networking, engaging with the Spanish market and following the main trends and priorities in the field of smart cities. Under the motto “Sustainable cities: digital innovation at the service of the environment”, the Technical Committee addressed strategic topics for the future of cities, including energy transition, climate neutrality, urban innovation, platform interoperability, data spaces and the use of digital technologies to improve municipal management.
For Ubiwhere, participating in this event represented a relevant opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the work being developed in Spain in the field of smart cities, as well as to understand the challenges, needs and priorities of Spanish municipalities. In a context where the digital transformation of territories requires increasingly integrated, sustainable and people-centred solutions, this direct contact with technical staff and local decision-makers made it possible to identify opportunities for collaboration and engagement with a strategic market for the company.
Through this presence, Ubiwhere continues to consolidate its position as a technology company dedicated to the development of solutions for smart cities, mobility, sustainability, data and digital transformation, contributing to the creation of more connected, resilient territories that are prepared for the challenges of the future.
