Ubiwhere took part in the Final Review meeting of the European project EDGELESS

Ubiwhere

Ubiwhere participated in the Final Review of the European project EDGELESS, held on the 27th and the 28th of April, at Siemens Technology Center Garching, in Munich. This event marked a decisive moment to assess the results achieved throughout the project, bringing together partners, reviewers and stakeholders for a final overview of the innovations developed.

The EDGELESS project aims to leverage the serverless concept across all layers of the edge-cloud continuum, in order to fully benefit from diverse and decentralised computational resources available on demand and close to where data is produced or consumed.

Bruno Pereira, Project Manager, represented Ubiwhere, attending the evaluation sessions and actively contributing to the presentation of the company’s results. As a member of the EDGELESS consortium, Ubiwhere played a key role in achieving the project’s objectives. During the Final Review, Ubiwhere was responsible for presenting Work Package 5, as well as the Smart City Analytics use case, showcasing its work in the field of intelligent urban data analysis. These contributions demonstrated how advanced edge computing solutions can be applied to transform data into valuable insights for more efficient city management.

Additionally, Ubiwhere highlighted its contribution through the development of an Autonomous Smart City Surveillance Pilot, an innovative solution that demonstrates the potential of edge computing in smart urban environments. This pilot integrates advanced technologies for autonomous urban monitoring, enabling more efficient real-time event response, with lower latency and greater operational autonomy.
