Ubiwhere unveiled how data shapes our innovative mobility solutions at the Data Spaces Symposium 2024
Data Spaces Symposium 2024 was a successful event with nearly 1000 attendees from all over the world. As a player in Data Spaces and Data Analysis, Ubiwhere was at the world's leading event on data spaces, where we showcased our experience in developing solutions focused on data and its potential.
The Data Spaces Symposium was a transformative journey into the heart of data innovation, with the theme "Unite, Innovate, Adopt". It took place in the prestigious Darmstadtium in the Frankfurt region from March 12th to 14th.
Between technical talks and contacts with important partners and stakeholders, this event was centred on collaborative efforts to create solid data spaces that positively impact both the technological context and society. Ubiwhere was one of the official partners of the Data Spaces Symposium 2024 and embarked on a journey into the future of data!
Ubiwhere participated in the Roundtable "Data Act: Opportunities created by the latest milestone of the EU data strategy" with the participation of Ricardo Vitorino, Head of Technical Communication, as a panellist alongside relevant speakers with extensive knowledge of Data Spaces: Yvo Volman (European Commission), Damian Boeselager (European Parliament), Ute Burkhardt (Volkswagen), Sille Sepp (My Data) and Boris Otto (Fraunhofer ISST). Ricardo Vitorino shared Ubiwhere’s experience, underlining the necessity of integrated systems and demonstrating Ubiwhere’s dedication to interoperability and innovation. Furthermore, Ricardo Vitorino talked about the Data Act’s benefits for us and our customers.
During this exciting journey at the Data Spaces Symposium 2024, Ubiwhere presented the project Route 25 and data’s role in the city’s mobility management. At our booth, André Guimarães, our Head of Marketing and Business Consultant, and Ricardo Vitorino showcased the Route 25, a project that aims to place the Portuguese industry at the top of the mobility value chain, making it ready to shape the future of mobility and providing the communication and sensing infrastructure to enable autonomous driving to be deployed in different types of cities.
This symposium presented a unique opportunity for Ubiwhere and for everyone committed to shaping the future of data spaces alongside esteemed thought leaders and industry experts.
