Ubiwhere will join a session dedicated to tourism intelligence and innovation in the sector at the Centro de Inteligência Turística Porto e Norte: Go Live event

Ubiwhere

Ubiwhere will take part, on the 9th of July, in the “Centro de Inteligência Turística Porto e Norte: Go Live” event, which will take place at Porto Business School. The initiative marks an important moment in the evolution of the Centro de Inteligência Turística Porto e Norte, representing the transition from vision to implementation and the public presentation of the platform developed within the scope of the project.

The event aims to present the results achieved, demonstrate the platform’s functionalities and share the next steps for the Centro de Inteligência Turística - Porto e Norte. This moment will bring together partners, entities and professionals linked to the tourism sector, reinforcing the importance of data, technology and collaboration in creating value for destinations, companies and institutions.

Ubiwhere will be represented by João Pardinha, Project Manager, who will take part in the session “The CIT: from vision to platform”, alongside Rita Marques, Project Coordinator and Director of the Tourism Futures Center at Porto Business School. This intervention will focus on the evolution of the project, its strategic framework, the demonstration of the platform, the next steps and the invitation for the ecosystem to collaborate.

The Centro de Inteligência Turística - Porto e Norte was created to respond to one of the sector’s main challenges: transforming scattered data into useful, integrated and actionable knowledge. In an increasingly competitive context, tourism destinations need clear and strategic information to support more informed, collaborative and future-oriented decision-making. The “Go Live” session will demonstrate how tourism intelligence can contribute to anticipating trends, identifying opportunities and responding to market challenges.

The event will also include the signing of collaboration protocols between Porto Business School, the Portuguese Tourism Confederation and NEST — Tourism Innovation Centre. Ubiwhere’s participation in this session reflects its commitment to developing data-driven technological solutions with an impact on territories.

Registration for the session is free and can be completed through this link.
