The ATT – Accelerate and Transform Tourism Agenda – focuses primarily on integrating technology and tourism, with a particular emphasis on utilising digital platforms. The project aims to collect information to support territorial management and promote the adoption of new technologies that enhance the quality of the tourist experience throughout the customer journey, leveraging their full potential.
Through eight strategic pillars, ATT proposes a profound transformation of the sector, driven by the digitalisation of infrastructures and territories, green mobility, intelligent communication with tourists, and a commitment to sustainability. This project reaffirms Ubiwhere’s commitment to creating digital platforms with a direct and positive impact on tourism in Portugal.
The Accelerate and Transform Tourism Agenda aims to establish an efficient and coherent management structure, ensuring the implementation and execution of activities defined by the Consortium. ATT’s objectives include conducting a detailed analysis and research of the platform architecture, taking into account the necessary integrations with Porto’s urban platform; designing and developing a matrix of relevant indicators for tourists to monitor and improve the destination experience; and researching the APIs provided by Turismo de Portugal, evaluating their integration and applicability within the platform.
The project’s development will be enriched by Ubiwhere’s extensive experience in creating innovative and effective digital solutions, particularly in the field of smart cities and, more recently, in tourism and its impact on cities. For this project, Ubiwhere intends to leverage its expertise in IoT and Smart Tourism platforms, directly contributing to interoperability and the adoption of new technologies such as 5G, Digital Twins, and Edge Computing.
This project is funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).
